Jim Talent Is No Friend To Family Farmers
Yesterday, Claire received the endorsement of the National Farmers Union PAC. We are very proud of this endorsement since the National Farmers Union has always been a strong voice for independent farmers and producers and their support signals that Claire is the candidate in this race who will be on the side of Missouri farmers and ranchers.

On 'The Purpling of Jim Talent'
This morning, I was pleasantly surprised to see that people all over St. Louis were reading “The Purpling of Jim Talent” in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. I thought this editorial did a fantastic job of cutting through Scott Howell’s carefully constructed image of Talent to expose the man who votes with President Bush 94% of the time.

Honoring The Voting Rights Act
Forty-one years ago, Congress passed the Voting Rights Act (VRA), landmark civil rights legislation that protected the right to vote for all Americans, extending the right to vote to millions of African-Americans by abolishing shameful tactics that had been used to deny them the right to vote. This year’s anniversary is especially significant since it comes on the heels of Congress’ reauthorization of the VRA, which was reauthorized for an additional 25 years.
